IMPORTANT COVID-19 NOTICE

Dear Trusting Patients,

The safety of our patients, their families and our staff are our priority at Institute of Spinal Disorders. We are reaching out to you to let you know how Institute of Spinal Disorders is responding to the current situation.

Currently, until further notice, we continue to be open. However, your health and safety will always be our top priority.

Fort those patients who are concerned about coming into a doctor’s office at this time, we will also be offering telemedicine to our patients via skype or with their Smart Phone. Please let us know if you wish to have your appointment by telemedicine so we can send instructions to you.

We will continue to follow all guidelines that come from any regulatory or government bodies. If any changes are made to our hours of operation, we will communicate to you immediately.

We practice all CDC and OSHA standards of infection control daily, even prior to this virus. However, we have taken some additional steps as follows:

If you are showing any cold-like or flu symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

Our team will not be shaking hands with anyone to control cleanliness. While our friendliness of the team permeates through our culture, and we show that by gestures such as shaking hands, we will be avoiding any contact without wearing gloves.

We ask that only one patient at a time be present at the reception desk. Counters, pens and all items used between patients will be sanitized.

All of our staff who has immediate contact with patients will wear gloves, masks and eye protection as deemed necessary.

Our normal daily operations have always included:

All surfaces in the appointment room, all drawers and countertops have been cleaned and decontaminated.

Needles, gloves and masks are considered single-use and disposed of properly.

We understand if you choose to reschedule your appointment to a later date once life gets back to normal. While our financial policy has included a cancellation charge, please note that at this time, any such charges will be waived.

This is an unprecedented time for everyone, we sincerely hope and pray that life returns to normal very soon. Until then, as healthcare providers, we want you to know that you can depend on us during this time.
